GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Gaza’s civil defense service has called on Arab and foreign civil defense authorities to urgently provide it with technical and human support to help in its rescue and relief efforts in the war-torn Palestinian territory.
In a news conference on Monday, the civil defense highlighted its need for rescue, firefighting and ambulance vehicles and equipment in order to retrieve the bodies of martyrs from under the rubble of thousands of destroyed buildings and homes.
The civil defense pointed out that the Israeli occupation army had killed 99 of its members, injured 319 others and kidnaped 27, including four of its senior officials in northern Gaza.
The civil defense also said that the Israeli army bombed most of its facilities and vehicles during the war.
