In an official statement, the Civil Defense urged international institutions and humanitarian organizations to urgently provide the fuel needed to power vehicles and equipment essential for delivering life-saving aid.
Earlier, the Civil Defense announced a complete halt of its operations due to the fuel crisis, emphasizing the urgent need for intervention.
It confirmed that the fuel shortage has severely disrupted its ability to recover bodies, as vehicles are unable to move amid dire supply constraints.
