Gaza Health Ministry: 75 Killed, 304 Injured in Latest Israeli Strikes

GAZA, Sept 22, 2025 —

At least 75 Palestinians were killed and 304 wounded in the past 24 hours as Israeli forces continued attacks on the Gaza Strip, the health ministry said Sunday. Hospitals across the enclave received the bodies and treated the injured, many of them civilians.

According to the ministry, Israel’s resumed offensive on March 18, 2025, has killed 12,724 people and injured 54,534. The latest figures bring the overall toll from the war, which began on October 7, 2023, to 65,283 dead and 166,575 wounded.

Among the victims are at least 2,523 Palestinians killed while seeking humanitarian aid and 18,473 injured during aid distribution, highlighting what rights groups describe as deliberate targeting of civilians. Local authorities warn that the real numbers are likely higher, as many bodies remain trapped under rubble.

Recovery operations are ongoing across several areas of Gaza, where entire neighborhoods have been flattened. Health workers say the lack of fuel, equipment, and safe access to sites severely hampers efforts to retrieve the dead.

Humanitarian organizations have condemned the rising toll, accusing Israel of committing war crimes by indiscriminately bombing civilian areas and obstructing aid deliveries. The United Nations and international NGOs continue to call for an immediate ceasefire and accountability for violations of international law.

Israel maintains its campaign in Gaza with full U.S. backing, despite mounting global criticism. Palestinian officials describe the offensive as genocide and ethnic cleansing aimed at displacing Gaza’s more than two million residents.
