GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation army has continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip for the 81st consecutive day, carrying out attacks on different areas and demolishing homes.
According to media sources, the Israeli army carried out artillery attacks on the eastern areas of Gaza City and an airstrike in the eastern area of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes carried out another strike near the eastern cemetery of al‑Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
In a related incident, three citizens sustained injuries in an Israeli strike on Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
Gaza is facing extremely complex humanitarian conditions, with the deterioration of basic services and ongoing Israeli restrictions on the entry of fuel, water, and reconstruction materials.
Meanwhile, a new weather depression unleashed strong winds and heavy rains across the Gaza Strip on Saturday and Sunday, flooding and destroying tents of displaced families.
Politically, efforts to move into the next phase of the ceasefire is becoming more complicated, with reported disputes emerging between the US administration and the Israeli regime over priorities in Gaza — reconstruction versus disarmament.
These disputes will be addressed during US president Donald Trump’s meeting with Netanyahu, who is visiting Washington today.
