GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation army continued last night and on Saturday to carry out dozens of deadly strikes, detonate homes and displace families in the Gaza Strip, further exacerbating the dire humanitarian situation under a stifling blockade that risks plunging the population into severe famine.
According to local media sources, a citizen was martyred and a girl child was injured following a drone strike in al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
Another Israeli airstrike targeted a group of citizens in Wadi al-Arayes street in ash-Shuja’iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, killing two brothers.
Three other civilians were injured, one seriously, when an Israeli tank fired a projectile at the Abu Tami’ya neighborhood in al-Fakhari town, east of Khan Yunis.
An Israeli strike targeted in the morning a house belonging to the family of Shaath in al-Miraj area, northeast of Rafah in southern Gaza, killing one civilian and injuring two others.
A young man was also killed while his wife and kid were injured in an Israeli strike on an apartment in central Khan Yunis.
Three other civilians were killed when an Israeli drone bombed a food distribution point in Khan Yunis.
The Israeli army also launched artillery and aerial attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women.
