DAVOS, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Qatari premier Mohamed Al Thani has affirmed that the international peace council formed by US president Donald Trump must be effective and serve as a stabilizing element, stressing the need for Israel to withdraw from the Gaza Strip.
“We have a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, but the killing continues,” Al Thani said in press remarks on Tuesday.
The premier pointed out that the humanitarian situation in Gaza still requires significant intervention and that restrictions must be lifted.
“Humanitarian aid must be allowed into Gaza without restrictions,” he said.
“The ceasefire in Gaza is not complete, and it is necessary to ensure Israel’s withdrawal from the Strip,” he added.
