BEIRUT,(The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)Three Israeli military vehicles crossed into southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh governorate early Tuesday, marking a new violation of the ceasefire agreement between Hezbollah and Tel Aviv.
According to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), the incursion took place shortly after midnight, when “three hostile Israeli ATV-type vehicles crossed into the Khallat Warda area.”
Israeli army vehicles reportedly advanced toward the western outskirts of Aita al-Shaab town in Bint Jbeil district. The agency provided no further details on whether the vehicles later withdrew or remained inside Lebanese territory.
Late Monday, NNA also reported “intensive and focused flights of Israeli reconnaissance drones over towns and villages in Nabatieh at medium altitude,” in addition to low-altitude drone activity over several southern areas, including the towns of Namiriyeh and Zefta in Nabatieh, and al-Zahrani in the Sidon district.
Israel launched a large-scale assault on Lebanon in September 2024, following months of cross-border clashes that began in October 2023, killing more than 4,000 Lebanese and injuring around 17,000 others.
Although a ceasefire was reached in November 2024, Israel continues to violate it, with more than 4,500 recorded breaches. Defying the agreement, the Israeli forces still occupy five Lebanese hills seized during the last war, in addition to other areas under occupation for decades.
