Israel intensifies attacks on Gaza, challenging int’l ceasefire calls

GAZA, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)On its 731st day, the Israeli occupation’s genocidal assault continues nonstop on the Gaza Strip, via aerial strikes, artillery bombardment, starvation tactics, and targeting displaced civilians, with steadfast US military and political backing, and persistent international silence and abandonment.

The PIC correspondents report that Israeli forces ignored for the third consecutive day calls from the US president to halt the bombing, instead launching dozens of strikes and mass atrocities, intensifying displacement among over two million people facing severe famine, while focusing attacks on Gaza City in an effort to evacuate and destroy it.

Gaza genocide in numbers

Israel has carried out over 15,000 massacres, targeting 14,000+ families, resulting in the erasure of about 2,700 families from civil registries.

Government and UN data show over 88% of Gaza’s buildings have been damaged or destroyed, with total losses exceeding US$62 billion. Israeli forces control 77% of Gaza’s territory through invasion, fire, and displacement.

The Israeli occupation has completely destroyed 163 schools and universities, 369 partially, 833 mosques fully, 167 partially, and 19 cemeteries.

Gaza’s Government Media Office reported that in the past 48 hours, Israel launched 131 air and artillery raids, killing 94 civilians. Of those, 61 were in Gaza City alone. The Office declared that this continuous crime is part of the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people, showing Israel’s total disregard for international calls to de-escalate.

The Office placed full responsibility on Israel, urging the US administration and the international community to take immediate, serious action to end the assault and to enforce a genuine ceasefire.
