GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Activists around the world launched calls for civil disobedience and general mobilization in solidarity with the Gaza Strip, demanding an end to the ongoing Israeli war on the Strip.
Thousands interacted with the hashtag (#civil disobedience_until_the_genocide_stops) on social media platforms, calling on governments and international institutions to take more serious positions to stop the genocide against the Palestinians in the war-torn enclave.
The calls come in light of the escalation of aggression in Gaza and the unprecedented deterioration of the humanitarian situation.
Through this campaign, activists aim to put peaceful pressure on decision-makers by disrupting daily life and expressing their rejection of the ongoing genocidal war on Palestinians in the besieged Strip.
The campaign comes in the context of a growing global movement to show solidarity with Palestine and demand an end to the ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip and to provide the necessary humanitarian support to its inhabitants.
Activists seek to expand the scope of the campaign to include various sectors and communities around the world in order to have a real impact on political and international decisions to stop the war.
On March 18, Israel reneged on the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement.
The death toll since March 18 reached 1,249 martyrs and 3,022 injured, bringing the total number of martyrs and injured since the start of the genocidal war on October 7, 2023, to 50,609 martyrs and 115,063 injured since October 7, 2023, according to latest data of the Ministry of Health.
