GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) blocked fuel trucks intended for hospitals in Gaza City and North Gaza for the fifth time, Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) reported.
The GMO warned that all hospitals and Ministry of Health facilities are facing imminent shutdown within the next 24 hours due to the continued fuel supply disruption.
The Office has stressed that this blockade represents a grave crime committed by the Israeli occupying army, aimed at dismantling the healthcare system and hospitals, particularly in the Gaza and northern governorates.
“This act unfolds against the backdrop of an already devastated health sector, threatening the well-being of 700,000 residents in these areas.”
It held the Israeli occupation and the US administration responsible for the continued and deliberate assault on the healthcare system, executed as part of a carefully orchestrated plan crafted by both parties.
The Office urged the international community and all UN and international organizations to take immediate action to facilitate the fuel entry into the northern governorates, warning that without prompt intervention, all hospitals and health facilities in northern Gaza risk shutting down entirely.
For the sixth consecutive day, the Israeli occupation continues to besiege the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, amid intense and ongoing airstrikes that have resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded.
