WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement has strongly denounced the continued shedding of Palestinian blood at the hands of the Palestinian Authority (PA) security service, saying its practices in the West Bank “crossed all the red lines and national norms.”
In a statement on Wednesday, Hamas accused the PA security forces of persisting in attacking citizens in Jenin, saying they opened fire at and injured a young man in Jenin refugee camp and arrested wounded citizens today.
Hamas also accused the PA forces of chasing and targeting resistance fighters at the behest of the Israeli occupation and besieging and storming al-Razi Hospital in Jenin while opening fire inside it.
Hamas also called such practices by the PA security forces as a “departure from the national norms” and a “crime against the Palestinian people.”
The Movement said that such serious [PA] violations, which happened simultaneously with the ongoing Israeli aggression in Jenin, left no room for doubt that the security coordination between the PA and the occupation “reached catastrophic levels.”
It affirmed that all the resistance factions and the Palestinian people from all spectra reject the PA security cooperation with the Israeli occupation state.
It called on the resistance factions and the national figures in the West Bank to act strongly against the serious violations by the PA and join forces against the Israeli aggression in Jenin.
