WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement said that the Israeli plans to build more than 10,000 settlement units in Occupied Jerusalem came as part of “the Israeli comprehensive war on our people.”
Israeli plans to build more outposts and settlement units in Occupied Jerusalem including a religious school for Jewish fanatics in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, in addition to more than 10,000 settlement units on Palestinian private lands are a new violation that came as part of the Israeli comprehensive war on the Palestinian people, Hamas said in a statement issued on Thursday.
The Movement pointed out that these measures aim to impose new facts on the ground in an attempt to impose Israeli sovereignty on the occupied West Bank.
It also warned of “the repercussions of these dangerous Israeli measures, and called for Palestinian unity to confront this Israeli aggression on our land and our rights, and to engage in a comprehensive national program to confront the malicious settlement plans.”
Hamas further called for activating armed resistance till “the end of the occupation and the establishment of our independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.”
