WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Senior Hamas official Abdul-Rahman Shadeed has called for protecting and supporting the resistance in Jenin and actively participating in the “Day of Anger” rallies and events to be held on Wednesday evening in solidarity with the besieged refugee camp of Jenin.
In a statement, Shadeed called for necessarily supporting the resistance fighters in the West Bank and helping them to confront the Israeli occupation and repel settler crimes.
“We must support the resistance fighters and provide them with full protection instead of chasing and clashing with them,” he said.
He stressed that the Palestinian Authority (PA) security services’ persistence in their security operation in Jenin entails holding ongoing popular and factional activities to protect the resistance and dissuade the PA from its repressive and criminal practices, “which are posing a threat to the national fabric of the Palestinian people.”
