GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement appreciated on Sunday Egypt’s decision to join the lawsuit filed by the Republic of South Africa before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the case of genocide against Israel for committing genocidal war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas also praised, in a statement, Egypt’s condemnation of the Israeli occupation’s violations and repetitive crimes against defenseless Palestinian people, as well as its call for obliging Israel to abide by the ICJ’s ruling for the sake of delivering aid, halting the killing of civilians, and assuring the reopening of the Rafah crossing.
The Movement called on Arab and Muslim countries as well as all countries around the globe to “take similar steps in support of the Palestinian cause by joining the ICJ’s lawsuit against the criminal Zionist entity, to sever any relationship with Israel, to isolate it internationally, and to hold its leaders accountable for pursuing systematic criminal policy against our children and people in the Gaza Strip.”
