RAMALLAH (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Hamas leader Mahmoud Mirdawi has called for confronting the escalating settler attacks in various West Bank governorates and escalating all forms of resistance to disrupt Israel’s schemes.
Mirdawi said in a statement on Monday that the escalation of settler attacks in the West Bank calls for igniting confrontations and clashes to deter the occupation and settlers from their repeated crimes and thwart their annexation and displacement schemes.
He explained that the settlers’ attacks against citizens’ property in the West Bank come with the absolute support of the extremist right-wing Israeli government, which adopts “the option of genocide, terrorism, and all types of brutality.”
The Hamas leader pointed out that attacks against occupation are the only way to stop the settler attacks and their unprecedented violations in the West Bank.
