Hamas calls for int’l action against Israel’s use of starvation as weapon

GAZA  (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement has appealed to the international community to intensify its pressure on the Israeli occupation regime to halt its use of starvation as a weapon against the civilians in the Gaza Strip.

“The government of war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu relentlessly employs starvation as a weapon in the genocidal war it is waging on our people in Gaza Strip. This ruthless strategy persists unabated, utterly disregarding mounting international demands to end this heinous crime amid nearly 19 months of nonstop brutal massacres,” Hamas said in a statement on Wednesday.

“The fascist Israeli government seeks to mislead the global public opinion by claiming that it allowed humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip, while in reality, this false propaganda serves as a cover for orchestrating one of the most horrifying crimes of starvation and genocide in modern times,” Hamas said.

The Movement called for international action to put an end to Israel’s genocidal war on the innocent civilians of Gaza and to guarantee the unimpeded flow of humanitarian aid.
