GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement has called for urgent international action to stop the Israeli occupation’s violations and crimes against the Palestinian prisoners in its jails.
In a statement on Wednesday, senior Hamas official Abdul-Rahman Shadeed accused the Israeli regime of carrying out an unprecedented repression campaign and using brutal methods against the Palestinian prisoners, especially the leaders of the Captive Movement.
“They are facing solitary confinement, starvation, physical abuse, humiliation, and deprivation of sleep and medical treatment,” Shadeed added.
“The Israeli prison service is trying to break the prisoners’ steadfastness and psychologically destroy them,” the Hamas official said.
