GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement has affirmed that the Israeli occupation army’s crimes against Palestinian journalists will not intimidate them or prevent them from continuing their role in exposing the reality of the fascist Israeli entity.
“Unprecedented crimes are committed systematically and deliberately against journalists at the hands of Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip with the aim of terrorizing them and deterring them from conveying the truth of the brutal genocide taking place there,” Hamas said in a statement on Sunday.
“Such crimes require serious steps by the international community and its institutions to stop them and hold this fascist government accountable for making the Palestinian journalists a target for killing and reprisal,” Hamas stressed.
Hamas called on international news and media organizations to state their positions clearly in this regard, voice solidarity with Palestinian journalists and condemn Israel’s vicious crimes against them.
During the past 24 hours, five Palestinian journalists were martyred in the Gaza Strip in Israeli attacks. Four of them were killed in an Israeli strike on a school sheltering displaced families in ash-Shati refugee camp.
