GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem has said that the “criminal Zionist occupation” committed a horrific massacre in the Gaza Strip, killing four civilians, including a pregnant woman, after bombing their home, in blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement in the enclave.
Qassem noted in a statement on Sunday that this massacre coincided with the crime in Tammun, near Nablus, where four members of a single family (father, mother, and their two sons) were killed. He stressed that this once again demonstrates the Israeli government’s determination to continue its policy of extermination against the Palestinian people wherever they are.
He affirmed that the response to the Israeli genocidal policy must be to accelerate efforts to unify the Palestinian position, build a genuine strategy of resistance, and formulate a unified national program based on confronting the occupation and strengthening the steadfastness of the Palestinian people.
