GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement has described the Israeli occupation army’s recent escalation of its attacks on schools used as shelter centers and tents housing displaced families in the Gaza Strip as “persistence in deliberately targeting defenseless civilians and committing horrific massacres against them.”
In a statement on Thursday, Hamas called on the international community, the UN and their organizations to work on putting an end to Israel’s terrorism and its flagrant violation of the international law in Gaza.
Hamas stressed the need to take legal action to hold Israeli war criminals accountable for their crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Lebanon.
At least 15 people have now been confirmed killed in Israel’s attack on Jabalia’s Hafsa al-Faluja School in northern Gaza on Thursday evening, according to Gaza’s civil defense service. The victims include women and children, it said.
Dozens more have been wounded, some severely, as the search continues for those missing under the rubble.
