GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement has said that the closure of the northern Gaza hospital announced earlier Wednesday will exacerbate the health and humanitarian crisis in the area.
The Movement pointed out that many patients were martyred due to a lack of medical care and medicine, saying that four infants died of dehydration and malnutrition in the hospital.
The Movement called on all concerned parties and United Nations agencies to take urgent action to deliver emergency food supplies to the besieged enclave.
It added that the international community and the UN should shoulder their responsibilities and take all necessary measures to stop the genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
North Gaza is already teetering on the brink of famine as Israel continues to block or disrupt aid missions there.
