The Hamas Movement on Thursday extended its heartfelt congratulations to Gaza’s high school graduates, praising their success as a testament to Palestinian resilience and determination in the face of war, destruction, and siege.
In a statement, Hamas said the students’ achievement was realized “amid the rubble of war and the pain of blockade,” reflecting the Palestinian people’s awareness, endurance, and unyielding commitment to education and civilization despite “the horrific and catastrophic conditions endured during the genocide against the Gaza Strip.”
The Movement emphasized that the Israeli occupation’s deliberate targeting of schools, universities, students, and teachers will never crush the Palestinian will to learn or extinguish their passion for life and knowledge.
Hamas called on countries, institutions, and educational organizations worldwide to provide sustained and tangible support to Gaza’s students, schools, and universities to enable them to continue their educational and national mission.
It stressed that education in Gaza “is an integral part of the Palestinian people’s struggle for freedom, independence, and the building of a bright future.”
