GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement has described the Israeli occupation army’s burning of the passenger waiting hall and other premises on the Palestinian side of the Rafah border crossing as a “criminal act, a barbaric behavior, and part of the ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.”
“This Nazi behavior, which is a clear-cut war crime, requires widespread international condemnation and necessary measures to hold the occupation leaders accountable for their destruction of a civilian facility with no reason other than quenching their thirst for destruction and making the Palestinians suffer more,” Hamas said in a statement on Monday.
Hamas held the occupation regime responsible for the consequences of this crime that would deprive thousands of sick and wounded civilians from traveling for medical treatment abroad.
The Movement stressed the need for effective international action to open the Rafah crossing and facilitate the travel of patients and the entry of aid shipments.
