DOHA, (The Palestine Information Centre)Member of the Hamas political bureau Harun Nasser El-Din has warned of the grave danger threatening the Al-Aqsa Mosque due to the Israeli Judaization plans and the Jewish settlers’ plans to raid the Mosque to commemorate Jewish holidays.
In a press statement on Monday, Nasser El-Din held the Israeli occupation responsible for the repercussions of facilitating settlers’ raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, adding that such raids will be met with comprehensive resistance all over the occupied territories.
The Hamas official pointed out that the Israeli occupation is taking advantage of Jewish holidays to impose a new fait accompli on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, affirming that allowing settlers’ raids into the Mosque constitutes part of the religious war waged against the holy site.
“The Palestinian people will continue carrying out resistance operations in response to the escalating Israeli crimes against Al-Aqsa Mosque,” Nasser El-Din stressed, calling on the Palestinian people all over the occupied territories to intensify their presence at the Mosque to protect it against Israeli desecration.
The Hamas leader urged the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to assume their responsibility and pressure Israel to halt its violations against the Palestinian people and their lands and holy sites.
He also called on the Arab and Muslim countries to support the Palestinian people while they defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque against the Israeli Judaization plans.
