OCCUPIED JERUSALEM(Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement hailed the resistance stabbing operation that took place in the Holon area in central Tel Aviv in 1948 Occupied Palestine, calling it a natural response to the ongoing Israeli occupation crimes against the Palestinian people and the brutal genocide war being committed in the Gaza Strip against defenseless civilians.
The stabbing attack is also a natural response to “the escalating dangerous violations in the West Bank, the foolish criminal decisions of the Zionist extremist government, the assassination of Palestinian leaders, national figures and resistance leaders and the vile assassination of the Movement’s leader the martyr Ismail Haneyya,” Hamas added.
In a press statement on Sunday, Hamas praised the resistance fighter who carried out the stabbing attack, Ammar Odeh, from Salfit city, and called on the masses of the Palestinian people and the revolutionary youth in the West Bank and Jerusalem, to escalate confrontations and clashes with Israeli occupation forces and fanatic settlers across the Palestinian lands.
Hamas pledged to escalate its resistance operations against Israeli occupation forces and reiterated that the Israeli crimes, assassinations, and massacres will not pass without punishment.
Earlier on Sunday morning, a Palestinian citizen was shot dead by Israeli occupation police after he carried out a stabbing attack that killed two Israelis and injured at least three others in Holon area in Tel Aviv.
According to the Hebrew media, the Israeli police initially said that five people sustained serious and severe injuries, before announcing, later on, the death of two of the wounded.
Israeli security forces announced that they have neutralized the resistance fighter, and searching for another suspect.
