GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement has mourned prisoner Luay Nasrallah, a 22-year-old from Jenin City, who was pronounced dead on Monday morning after being transferred in critical condition from Negev jail to the Israeli Soroka Hospital.
“Nasrallah’s martyrdom has further exposed the Israeli occupation’s brutality and sadism against Palestinian prisoners, and its persistent use of slow-killing and maltreatment tactics, including deprivation of medical care and continuous psychological and physical torture,” Hamas said in a statement on Monday.
Hamas described the incarceration conditions inside Israeli jails as “catastrophic,” stressing that “the Palestinian prisoners are facing gross violations and systematic crimes at the hands of Israeli jailers.”
Hamas called for urgent action to pressure the Israeli occupation regime to stop its violations against the Palestinian prisoners and stressed the need for serious measures to support and protect them.
