GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement has applauded the stabbing attack carried out today near the illegal Atarot settlement in northern Ramallah, calling it “heroic” and a “natural response to Israeli crimes.”
In a statement on Tuesday, Hamas added that the operation “sends a clear message that Israel’s attempts to break the will of the Palestinian people through military assaults, killings, daily arrests, and field executions will not succeed.”
Hamas mourned Mohamed Asmar, a resident of Beit Rima in Ramallah who carried out a stabbing attack in the morning, affirming that “his blood, together with that of previous martyrs, will fuel ongoing resistance.”
“The occurrence of resistance operations within less than 12 hours in al-Khalil and Ramallah highlights the occupation’s failure to impose its alleged security and deterrence equations,” the Movement said.
The Movement urged the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank “to strengthen their steadfastness and intensify all forms of resistance until realizing their right to freedom, self‑determination, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.”
