GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Hamas Movement has affirmed that the Israeli occupation army’s continued killing of people in the Gaza Strip and its tightening of the blockade clearly confirm its decision to sabotage the ceasefire trajectory and the Board of Peace’s efforts.
In a statement on Wednesday, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem said that the ongoing Israeli ceasefire violations in Gaza reflect that the genocide is still ongoing, albeit at a slower pace.
Spokesman Qasem stressed the need for all mediators and sponsors of the ceasefire agreement to pressure the Israeli regime to halt its violations in Gaza and lift its blockade, so that the parties can proceed with the ceasefire process.
Two Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured in Israeli attacks in separate areas of the Gaza Strip last night and on Wednesday morning.
According to media sources, two people were martyred and others were wounded on Tuesday night in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a group of citizens north of az‑Zawaida village in central Gaza.
On Wednesday morning, Israeli gunboats fired bullets and projectiles towards tents sheltering displaced families in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, south of Gaza, injuring four civilians, including three kids.
One of the children has sustained a serious bullet injury, according to medical sources.
Earlier on Tuesday, 13‑year‑old Khaled Arradah was also martyred after being shot by Israeli forces in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis.
