Hamas movement issued a statement declaring that the desperate attempt by the Zionist regime to assassinate the Hamas negotiation delegation in the Qatari capital is a heinous crime, a blatant aggression, and a clear violation of all international laws.
This crime constitutes an assault on the sovereignty of the State of Qatar, a country that, along with Egypt, plays an important and responsible role in advancing mediation efforts to stop the aggression and achieve a ceasefire agreement and prisoner exchange. This action once again reveals the criminal nature of the occupiers and their desire to destroy any opportunity to reach an agreement.
We emphasize that the enemy has failed in assassinating our brothers in the negotiation delegation, while several of our brothers have attained the high status of honor and glory. They are:
