GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center)The Hamas Movement said on Monday that the number of martyrs killed as a result of the so-called Israeli-American “aid distribution mechanism” has risen to 454, with 3,466 others injured, since its implementation began less than a month ago. Hamas said that this figure reveals the criminal nature of the mechanism.
In a press statement, Hamas emphasized that these so-called “aid distribution points” are nothing more than carefully orchestrated death traps, used as part of a systematic policy to manage starvation and humiliation with the aim of committing genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The Movement condemned the ongoing crime, carried out under international cover and disgraceful silence, as a flagrant violation of all humanitarian laws and norms. It called on the international community and the United Nations to uphold their moral and legal responsibilities by immediately intervening to stop these massacres and to establish an alternative, safe, UN-supervised humanitarian mechanism under independent international monitoring to deliver aid outside the grip and control of the occupation.
Hamas also called for the activation of international accountability and the prosecution of Israeli leaders as war criminals for their crimes against defenseless civilians. The Movement demanded urgent and effective action to impose a comprehensive and immediate halt to the genocide targeting over two million besieged Palestinians in Gaza.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces, with full American support, have continued to commit acts of genocide in Gaza, resulting in more than 187,000 Palestinians killed or injured—most of them children and women—alongside over 11,000 missing and hundreds of thousands displaced.
