ISTANBUL, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Turkish foreign ministry said that minister Hakan Fidan met on Wednesday in Ankara with senior officials from Hamas’s political bureau to exchange views on the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
According to a source from the ministry, Hamas delegation informed Fidan that the Movement fully honored its ceasefire obligations, while accusing Israel of persisting in its attacks on Gaza and blocking efforts to start talks on the deal’s second phase
The Hamas delegation noted that 60 percent of the trucks that had been allowed to enter Gaza carried commercial goods, while the amount of humanitarian aid remains insufficient to meet essential needs, reporting ongoing shortages of vital supplies, including medicines, construction materials, and fuel.
The two sides discussed the efforts to bridge the rift in the Palestinian arena and the situation in the West Bank. They also condemned Israel’s actions in the West Bank.
