GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement has called on the UN, the World Health Organization (WHO), the Red Cross, and human rights groups to exert maximum pressure on the Israeli occupation regime to unveil the fate of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya and his colleagues, who were kidnaped from the Kamal Adwan Hospital, and to release them.
In a statement on Monday, Hamas also called for providing the Palestinian citizens in northern Gaza with basic medical services after the Israeli army destroyed all the health facilities there.
“Dr. Abu Safiya, director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital, has been facing enforced disappearance since Israeli forces kidnaped him during their raid on the hospital and the destruction of its departments last Friday,” Hamas said.
Hamas held the Israeli occupation regime fully responsible for any harm coming to Dr. Abu Safiya and all the nurses and paramedics who were kidnaped from the hospital.
