Hamas urges heightened resistance against Israeli forces in West Bank

WEST BANK, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)

The Hamas Movement called on Thursday evening for an escalation of resistance across cities and towns in the West Bank in response to the escalating Israeli crimes.

Hamas said that the Israeli aggression and settler violence in the West Bank, particularly the targeting of youth and boys defending their land, including the most recent martyrs from Beit Ummar north of al-Khalil, will only strengthen the Palestinian people’s commitment to their rights and their resolve to continue the path of resistance.

Hamas mourned the martyrs Mohammad Mahmoud Abu Ayash and Bilal Bahaa Baran, condemning the targeting of children and minors as a heinous crime that reflects the true nature of the Israeli government, which it described as a “government of killing and terror.”

The Movement further emphasized that these systematic policies are aimed at breaking the will of the Palestinian people but will ultimately fail.

The Movement said that all the Israeli attempts to intimidate West Bank residents through systematic field executions will fail, reaffirming that the blood of the martyrs will only deepen the Palestinians’ determination and commitment to the path of resistance against the occupation and settlers.

Earlier today, Israeli occupation forces opened fire on two Palestinian boys near the “Karmi Tzur” settlement, built on Beit Ummar lands, alleging they threw Molotov cocktails, resulting in their deaths and the seizure of their bodies.

According to field reports, Beit Ummar has been witnessing growing tension for months due to daily military raids and ongoing clashes with Israeli forces, which continue to implement a policy of field executions and the targeting of minors amid international silence that exacerbates Palestinian suffering and grants Israel cover to continue its crimes.
