GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement has condemned the “dangerous” US threats to intervene militarily against Iran, warning that such a step would escalate tensions and push the region towards a critical breaking point.
In a statement on Wednesday, Hamas also deplored the ongoing Israeli aggression against Iran, calling its attacks on the Islamic country a “flagrant violation of the international law” and a “direct threat to regional and international peace.”
“The Israeli declaration that ‘no cities in the Middle East are safe from Israel’ reflects an arrogant colonial mentality and unveils aggressive intents that threaten the stability of the region and its peoples,” Hamas said.
Hamas held the US administration and the Israeli occupation regime fully responsible for the consequences of their escalation against Iran.
The Movement reiterated its full support for Iran and its legitimate right to defend itself and its national sovereignty, urging the Arab and Islamic countries to adopt one position in support of Iran in order to protect the regional security and their peoples’ interests.
