GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, mourned the leader in the Islamic Resistance Hezbollah in Lebanon, Ali Karaki, known as “Hajj Abu al-Fadl”.
In an obituary statement on Sunday, the Al-Qassam Brigades said, “Abu al-Fadl was martyred on the road to Jerusalem”, praising his “pivotal role” in supporting the Palestinian people and their resistance.
“The martyr Karaki led the southern Lebanese front with all its axes and formations within the Lebanese Islamic Resistance Support Front for Gaza during the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle,” it added.
The statement noted that the martyr, Hajj Abu al-Fadl, “made, over many years, great contributions to building the resistance front against the Zionist occupation”.
Earlier on Sunday, the Lebanese Hezbollah announced the assassination of its prominent leader Ali Karaki along with leader Nabil Qaouk in the Israeli raid that targeted Friday the southern suburbs of Beirut, and led to the martyrdom of the party’s Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah.
