BEIRUT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Senior leader of the Hamas Movement, Osama Hamdan, said that Muhammad Al-Deif, the leader of the Movement’s armed wing, “is fine and on top of operations.”
Hamdan confirmed in a statement on Sunday reported by Al-Jazeera that “Brother Abu Khaled (Muhammad Al-Deif) is fine, and is still at the top of his work and exercising his role as the leader of the resistance.”
“All the rumors that were spread did not push him back, and he is still in his position, exercising his role, and despite the passing of more than 330 days of fighting, neither he nor his fighters nor his staff have lost their resolve or determination.”
On the other hand, Hamdan said that the ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza Strip do not need new initiatives, as all previous projects failed due to the lack of a guarantee that Israel would accept them.
He added that the coming days will reveal surprises in the West Bank that will not please the occupation.
The US United States is not exerting real pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept the American proposals that Hamas had previously announced its approval of, he added.
The Hamas leader denied that there were direct negotiations with the US in isolation from Israel.
