BEIRUT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan told journalists on Sunday evening that the Israeli occupation destroyed about 70 percent of civilian facilities and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip with the aim of forcibly displacing civilians.
In a news conference in Beirut, Hamdan said that the repeated talk of what he described as the “Nazi extremist leaders” of the Israeli occupation government led by Benjamin Netanyahu about “voluntary migration of Gaza residents” is “only illusions and dreams that cannot come true.”
“Those alien settlers will depart from our land once and for all to their homelands which they came from,” Hamdan added.
“We reiterate that the Gaza Strip will be exclusively Palestinian, and our people will decide its present and future, and it will be an integral part of an independent and full sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital,” Hamdan underlined.
“We highly value and appreciate South Africa’s supportive positions towards our people and its rejection of the Zionist aggression. The latest of these positions was filing a lawsuit against the Zionist entity at the International Court of Justice over the occupation’s crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing and genocide,” Hamdan said.
“We call on the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the African Union to support and endorse South Africa’s step, build on it and file more lawsuits at international courts against this fascist entity for its crimes against our people,” he added.
