Hamas leader Abdul Hakim Haneini has said that the Jewish settlers’ barbaric attack on the al-Mughayyir village to the east of the West Bank city of Ramallah will not intimidate the Palestinian citizens.
In a press statement on Friday, Haneini stressed that protecting the settlers’ attacks on the al-Mughayyir village by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) amid continued blockage imposed on the village constitutes part of the Israeli government’s fascist policies.
“The settlers’ attack against al-Mughayyir village comes one day after their attack against Burqa village, west of Nablus,” Haneini underlined, adding that resistance should escalate all over the occupied territories in the face of such attacks.
Earlier today, four Palestinian citizens suffered from gunshot injuries after Jewish settlers and IOF soldiers stormed an area near Turmusaya and Al-Mughayer villages, east of Ramallah, and set fire to five vehicles in the area.
Meanwhile, the IOF continued to impose a total blockage on Al-Mughayyir village for the fourteenth day in a row, tightly restricting the locals’ movement.
