TEHRAN (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Ismail Haneyya, the Political Bureau Chairman of Hamas, discussed in Tehran on Thursday with the Iranian Shura Council Speaker latest field and political developments in Gaza.
Haneyya, who is currently heading a senior-level delegation on a visit to Iran, discussed with the Iranian official the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The Iranian official praised the steadfast Palestinian people and their sacrifices, affirming his country’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and cause.
He described the battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood as a turning point in the history of the Palestinian people’s struggle.
For his part, Haneyya briefed the Iranian official on developments of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, hailing the Palestinian people’s steadfastness.
He lauded the resistance attacks launched against Israeli interests from south Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen in support of Gaza.
The Hamas leader touched on the rounds of negotiations, through intermediaries, with Israel, saying that Israel was maneuvering and trying to win through negotiations what it failed to win through war.
