DOHA,(Palestine Foundation Information Center)Head of Hamas’s political bureau, Ismail Haneyya, received on Tuesday a high-level Iranian delegation headed by the Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Shura Council, Wahid Jalalzada.
The delegation, which also includes a number of representatives of the Iranian Shura Council, was briefed on the overall developments taking place in the besieged Gaza Strip, starting from October 7th to the present day.
Haneyya explained the ongoing Israeli crimes against hundreds of children and civilians carried out on a daily basis with the most heinous methods of murder, which reflects the Israeli failure before Palestinian resistance, particularly Al-Qassam Brigades which launched an unprecedented operation that shook the Israeli occupation and revealed how fragile and tenuous it is, and at the same time proved the steadfastness of the Palestinian people.
For his part, Jalalzada hailed the Palestinian people and resistance in Gaza for their sacrifices and heroic performance on the Al-Aqsa Flood battle on October 7th, stressing that the world will remember that date as a victory day of the Palestinian resistance which changed history.
“The conflict now is no longer Palestinian or regional, but rather a global one”, Jalalzada said, referring to the various world delegations coming successively to Israel, which points to the strength of the blow inflicted by the Palestinian resistance to the Israeli occupation.
The meeting also addressed the joint cooperation between Hamas and Iran and praised the resistance in southern Lebanon, especially that carried out by Hezbollah and its impact on the current developments.
