DOHA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas Ismail Haneyya on Thursday evening discussed with Chinese envoy to Qatar Cao Xiaolin the latest developments in Gaza and “ways to stop the war.”
They discussed the political and field developments related to the situation in the Gaza Strip and ways to stop the war that the Palestinian people are subjected to, delivering urgent aid and relief, especially in light of the deliberate starvation in the north and the escalation of aggression and massacres, the latest of which was the flour massacre on Thursday morning.
The head of the Movement emphasized the necessity of quickly stopping the aggression and massacres, the withdrawal of the occupation army, the return of the displaced, the requirements for shelter and reconstruction, and achieving the political goals and aspirations of establishing an independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty with Jerusalem as its capital, the right of return, and self-determination.
Haneyya also expressed “pride in the close relationship that binds the two friendly peoples and praised the role China plays in the Security Council and the United Nations, as well as sending humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.”
