GAZA, (The Palestine Information Centre)Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has said that the occupied West Bank has triumphed over its circumstances and the challenges it was facing and stood courageously in the face of the Israeli occupation state and its forces.
In an online meeting held by the Association of Palestinian Scholars on Sunday, Haneyya said that the resumption of heroic operations represented a new change in the West Bank after the difficult conditions the resistance had gone through as a result of the Palestinian Authority’s security coordination with the occupation state.
The Hamas leader described the Gaza Strip as a “solid foundation for the resistance” and a “strategic asset for the long-term resistance project.”
The Hamas leader stressed the need for upholding the strategy of building the strength of the resistance, finding strategic alliances for its project, and working on uniting the Palestinian people and urging the Muslim nation to take part in the Palestinian struggle against the occupation.
He warned that the current Israeli government poses a great danger to the Palestinian cause, and called on the Muslim nation to get prepared to confront the Israeli plans aimed at changing the situation in the West Bank, dividing the Aqsa Mosque temporally and spatially, and expanding settlements
