OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center)Senior Hamas official Abdul-Hakim Hanini said that the car-ramming operation in Occupied Jerusalem on Monday morning vindicated further that the Palestinian resistance is ready and determined to protect its people, land, and holy sites.
In a statement, Hanini pointed out that the operation happened as the Aqsa Mosque is exposed to malicious Judaization plans that entail Palestinian action on the ground to defend and protect it.
Hanini said that the “recent developments and special operations that took place in the West Bank and Jerusalem reflected the size of anger among our people and resistance fighters over the ongoing crimes that are committed by Israeli forces and settlers.”
The Hamas official urged his compatriots in the West Bank and Jerusalem to rise up in the face of the Israeli occupation and carry out more resistance operations against its soldiers and settlers.
On Monday morning, two Palestinian young men carried out a car-ramming operation in the west of Jerusalem, injuring three Jewish settlers. They also tried to carry out a shooting operation with an improvised submachine gun, but it failed to operate.
The Israeli occupation police said they arrested two Palestinians after a car slammed into Israeli pedestrians in Jerusalem, lightly wounding three.
