GAZA, (The Palestine Information Centre)The head of the Crossings and Borders Authority, Major General Fouad Ali Abu Butihan, and a number of his family members were killed by Israeli bombing on Tuesday.
The Government Action Follow-up Committee in the Gaza Strip has mourned the death of the 55-year-old governmental official who was martyred after the Israeli warplanes targeted his house.
“Killing Abu Butihan constitutes a new Israeli crime against the Palestinian citizens,” the Government Committee said, stressing that this crime will not weaken its determination to perform its moral and national duty.
For the 11th consecutive day, Israel continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip, bombing homes and neighborhoods and massacring civilians, amid acute water and fuel shortages.
