BEIRUT(Palestine Foundation Information Center)Lebanon’s Hezbollah group has affirmed that the assassination of deputy head of Hamas’s political bureau Saleh al-Aruri and a number of his companions in Beirut on Tuesday will not go unanswered and unpunished.
“We consider the crime of assassinating Saleh al-Aruri and his fellow martyrs in the heart of the southern suburbs of Beirut a serious assault on Lebanon, its people, its security, its sovereignty and its resistance … and a dangerous development in the course of the war between the enemy and the resistance axis,” Hezbollah said in a statement on Wednesday.
Hezbollah affirmed that its resistance fighters at the highest levels of readiness and would respond to the Israeli attack in Beirut.
Hezbollah offered its condolences to Hamas and its armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, the Palestinian people and all the resistance factions in the Palestinian arena over the martyrdom of Aruri and his comrades.
“Allah Almighty concluded the career of this great leader with the highest medals of honor and dignity, and he obtained the martyrdom that he had long sought and longed for,” Hezbollah said of Aruri.
