OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (The Palestine Information Centre)Hundreds of extremist Jewish settlers forced their way into the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Monday, the third day of the Sukkot holiday.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem said that 700 settlers, led by the fanatic rabbi Yehuda Glick, stormed the Mosque in the early morning hours and carried out provocative tours and Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.
Meanwhile, Israeli police reinforced their presence at the entrances of the Aqsa Mosque, restricting Palestinian access to the site.
This came amid growing calls to intensify Palestinian presence in the holy site and to confront Israeli plans to impose a temporal and spatial division on the holy Islamic site.
