Palestinian martyred, three others injured by IOF gunfire in W. Bank

WEST BANK,(The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)A Palestinian young men was martyred and three others sustained injuries after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at them in different areas of the West Bank on Sunday evening.

According to local sources, Israeli soldiers opened fire at a young man at the Dhahiriya checkpoint in the south of al-Khalil City and left him bleeding for several hours until he died.

The martyr was identified as 20-year-old Mohamed al-Shaour, a resident of al-Ramadin village in al-Khalil province.

The IOF prevented Palestinian ambulance crews from approaching the scene, amid a heavy military presence around the checkpoint and a complete shutdown of the area to civilian movement.

In a separate incident, a 14-year-old child suffered a bullet injury in his leg on the same day when IOF soldiers opened fire at him as he was walking home in Turmus Ayya town, northeast of Ramallah.

Eyewitnesses said that after the child was wounded, Israeli soldiers severely beat him, resulting in several bruises across his body.

The boy was rushed to the hospital, where doctors described his condition as stable.

Earlier, Israeli forces shot and injured two young men during an evening raid on al-Am’ari refugee camp, south of Ramallah. One of the victims was reported to be in serious condition.

According to the Palestinian health ministry, medical teams at Palestine Hospital were treating two young men wounded by Israeli gunfire, both transferred from al-Am’ari camp. One of the victims was in critical condition due to an abdominal bullet injury.
