KARACHI (Palestine Information Center)Palestine Foundation Pakistan and Arts Council Karachi jointly organized a condolence reference in memory of the great freedom fighter of Occupied Kashmir, Maulana Abbas Ansari, and a Kashmir-Palestine conference at Arts council of Karachi on Friday 4th November.
Leaders of various political and religious parties and civil society members attended and addressed the conference.
Addressing the conference, the speakers paid tribute to the former chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and the pioneer of Kashmir’s freedom struggle, Maulana Abbas Ansari, for his tireless work and heroic struggle for the freedom of Kashmir. Sajjad Ansari, the son of Maulana Abbas Ansari, who is in Srinagar, also addressed the participants of the conference by telephone.
Addressing the participants of the conference, the speakers said that the issue of Kashmir has entered a new historical turning point where the Kashmiri people are facing India’s aggression and brutality on the one hand, while on the other hand they are facing new conspiracies from the world imperialist forces.
The speakers said that the United States of America and the United Kingdom, which are the real root of the political and military problems around the world, are trying to mediate on the Kashmir issue today, with the aim of sabotaging the Kashmir issue.
The speakers said that the United States has already failed in its efforts to end the Palestinian cause through black deeds like the Deal of the Century and the Abrahamic Accords.
The speakers said that the people of Pakistan, political leadership, civil society will not allow the black plans made by America to succeed in Kashmir.
The speakers said that the fate of Kashmir has to be decided by the Kashmiri people, whether they join Pakistan or become an independent territory, no power in the world has any right to decide the fate of Kashmir.
The speakers further said that the issue of Palestine is also in the hands of the Palestinian people, but no country in the world, including the United States, has the right to take any decision related to Palestine that does not reflect the aspirations of the Palestinian people.
They also expressed their condolences to the sacrifices and struggles of Maulana Abbas Ansari, Syed Ali Geelani Ashraf Sehrai and other Hurriyat leaders and said that the people of Pakistan will always remember the Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and keep the future generations familiar with the history-making Hurriyat leaders.
