BEIRUT (Palestine Foundation Information Center)Israeli occupation forces continued to violate the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon and the Islamic Resistance “Hezbollah” over the past 24 hours, committing 11 new violations.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the occupation army is persisting in its aggression against the properties and livelihoods of citizens. Early this morning, Thursday, they set fire to a poultry farm near Tal Nahas – Deir Mimass.
It noted that the outskirts of the town of Shebaa, southern Lebanon, are subjected to artillery shelling by the occupation forces. An Israeli drone struck a house belonging to the “Al-Daoud” family last night with a guided missile at the northern entrance of the town of Yahr al-Shuqif. The Lebanese agency indicated that the house had previously been destroyed in an earlier assault on Lebanon.
The National News Agency reported that the occupation forces continue to burn, demolish, and blow up houses in the Ras al-Dahr area west of the town of Mays al-Jabal.
Occupation forces fired a hail of bullets at one of the houses in the border town of Ramish, resulting in no human casualties but causing material damage to the house and shattering its windows. They targeted Lebanese citizens gathering and an ambulance belonging to the “Islamic Al-Resala Scouts” at the entrance to Maroun al-Ras.
Last night, the occupation forces arrested four citizens who were checking on their home at the outskirts of Maroun al-Ras, and opened fire on two others who were injured while attempting to enter the town. Occupation forces detained an ambulance vehicle from the “Al-Resala Scouts” in Maroun al-Ras that was trying to transport the wounded.
According to the Lebanese official agency, the occupation forces advanced 100 meters from the position of the Lebanese army at the western entrance of the town of Mays al-Jabal.
The National News Agency noted that an Israeli bulldozer is clearing and raising earth mounds in the middle of the road after bypassing the UNIFIL forces’ center in the Mafailah neighborhood, protected by a Merkava tank that was firing ahead of it.
Israeli war drones flew over the Lebanese capital, Beirut, reaching the southern suburbs at low altitude. For its part, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the total casualties from the occupation’s assaults were as follows: 5 injured in Majdal Selim, 2 injured in Maroun al-Ras, and one wounded person.
