OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) demolished on Tuesday a number of Palestinian homes and structures in different areas of Jerusalem at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to Palestinian media sources, the Israeli municipality displaced the families of Aid and al-Ruwaidi after demolishing their mobile homes in al-Bustan neighborhood of Silwan district, south of the Aqsa Mosque.
The IOA had demolished the houses of these two families about several months ago, forcing them to live in mobile homes on their own lands.
The IOA also demolished today a house and agricultural structures in the east Jerusalem district of Issawiya.
Local sources said that the Israeli municipality demolished a house in the eastern area of Issawiya belonging to Amjad Ali.
The municipality also razed large plant nurseries and livestock structures and bulldozed swaths of agricultural land, trees and retaining walls in Issawiya.
